I will forever be in love with this song. Usually I get sick of songs (anything) really quick but this song I guess just inspired me a bit. I had this whole idea thing for my end of the year project and i wanted to make a sort of montage type deal for this song and my last year in high school since I graduate in about two weeks. And for watever reason this scene in my head stuck. Someone standing in the middle of a school hallways dressed in cap and gown, slowly focus on face, look around, slow smile, change tassle from one side to the other, and then basically walk out of school like a boss to the ending chorus…”I’m glad you came.” I dunno, the whole idea of making something representing the journey of high school and how much we said we “hated” it, but then as you’re leaving you get emotional and remember all the memories you made, its life and its beautiful in a dorky kind of way. Even if I only attended my current school my last year, my senior year, I. I. Well, I’m glad I came.
